Hello world!
Thursday 04 February 2010 at 12:14 pmSo, ehm. Welcome, I suppose. To my blog. Many of you are probably new to this blog as it used to be in Dutch. Up until yesterday. Yesterday, during a 'Twitter-conversation' with my brother (yes, that's the kind of nerds we are) I asked him once more what to do about my blog.
I love blogging, I love blogging in Dutch as well, but I don't love the fact that most of the people I talk to 'on the internet' can't read my blog. Not a word of it. Dutch is not and never will be the new Spanish (where there's a still a large audience world wide).
And so, here I am. Welcome to my blog where I will post pages of my illustrated journal, links to and images of other artists I like, as well as random banter about my life. Enjoy.
Hurray! The blog is just lovely and now I can read it :)

I’m so glad you did this. Google translate does not really make much sense and I can’t read Dutch but I hear most people who speak Dutch also speak English, French and other languages. I however am from Canada and only know English and a smattering of French. So thanks from all of us who only have a handle on one language:) I love your work and am so excited to get a peak into your life.

Minutely nitpicky/helpful observations: On the homepage you forgot to change ‘om’ to ‘at’ for the posted time of your entries & under ‘etc.’ you forgot to change ‘mijn Twitter’ to ‘my Twitter’ (I also spotted typos on the backs of no less than 3 dvds while shopping today – it’s an extremely annoying gift I have :) ).

Good Job! I am only reader of your blog since a few days but loyal alreadey :-) And really can imagine why you’re blogging in English as from now… English is just more, mjah, how can I describe.. Multinational?
Though I’m a Dutchie myself, I like the whole English-thing. Ufortunately my English isn’t as perfect as I want it to be, but hopefully reading your blog on a regular basis,helps me to improve it! :-)
